Australian Border Force has intercepted yet another boat carrying about 20 Sri Lankan asylum seekers on the weekend.
Department of Home Affairs officers made their way to Christmas Island in preparation for arrivals.
A total of three boats since the May 2019 election have so far been intercepted totalling 80 illegals seeking asylum in Australia.
Illegals will be taken ashore then flown straight back to Colombo on a government jet before dawn.
The Australian government warned that the medivac laws would open the floodgates.
The last boat intercepted off the north coast of Australia also had 20 Sri Lankans on board that were flown back to Colombo May 29, 2019.
